Position: Work-from-Home Commission Only Sales Representative

Responsibilities: As a Work-from-Home Commission Only Sales Representative, you will:

Utilize the provided marketing kit, sales support, and product training to become an expert in our portable buildings.
Market our products to friends, neighbors, and your social media followers.
Advertise on online marketplaces and in your local markets to reach potential customers.
Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
Work independently to meet and exceed sales targets.
Set up marketing tents at fairs, festivals, high traffic retail areas, football games, etc.

Requirements:

IRON RANCH WORK FROM HOME ARMY…FAQ

As an Iron Ranch Rep you will be an independent contractor earning commissions for selling portable buildings, sheds, barns, cabins, and DIY tiny house shells in Central Texas through the Cedar Park Office. You can also sell metal carports and garages as well as commercial structures. That is an impressive product catalog for you to work from.

How Do You Get Paid?
Commission Plan…Commissions are calculated directly from the sales volume.
NEW Builds: 5% commission on all new “factory direct” builds. Stock Inventory Purchase: 4% commission.

What Can I Sell?
New Builds are orders placed by you for your customers to be built “factory direct”. They will have the options to customize sizes, colors, and features. The order will be built at the factory then delivered directly to the buyer.

You will have access to an online configurator to custom design their building, create contracts, and process rent to own agreements. They can sign remotely without you ever meeting them.

Stock Purchases are buildings you sell from our physical dealerships.

Cedar Park will have a community desk and resources for you to use as needed to facilitate appointments to view/purchase inventory. You will have access to an online configurator to custom design their building, create contracts, and process rent to own agreements.

What Can I Expect From The Training Program?

You will be invited to a weekly sales call and (2) Zoom training sessions per month. These Zoom sessions will be recorded and added to the online training portal. Iron Ranch utilizes Trainual, an online training platform, to educate our reps about our products and the sales process. In addition, you will find sales training exercises to help you master your craft.
You are encouraged to take a factory tour to see the product being built and learn how to feature/benefit from the factory manager directly. We will provide a technical contact, a product contact, and a sales contact to help you navigate any challenges.

Who Should I Sell To?
Start with the low hanging fruit first. How many people are in your FB friends list? How big is your Instagram following? Do you have any friends or family that could benefit from a new storage solution? After you have exhausted the people you know, develop a marketing strategy taking advantage of FB marketplace, share to groups, brand your Tik Tok, and more.

Can I Negotiate Pricing?

We have the flexibility for you to offer a 5% discount of the base price prior to any options or add-ons. Your Zone Rep can offer additional discounts to help you close difficult customers. Call for assistance.

How Do I Accept Payments?

You will never accept cash. You will have the option to enter CC billing or Check information while completing the sales agreement with your customers. Iron Ranch will process all billing on your behalf.

How Long Does The Process Take?

Factory Direct NEW Builds take an average of 4-6 weeks to complete. Delivery of Stock Purchases take an average of 7-10 days to complete.

How And When Do I Get Paid?
You will be a 1099 contractor and will have to submit a W-9 with your sign on agreement. You will be paid via Cash App or Venmo for monthly commissions by the 10th of the following month for all sales from the previous month.
